Portraits of Memories, October 8

- Amanda Dame, flute and Dan Foster, piano

Award-winning flutist Amanda Dame is an ESYO alumna and Guilderland High School graduate. Also a graduate of the Oberlin Conservatory and Peabody Institute, Amanda has established a career as a flute soloist and chamber musician, performing at prominent venues throughout the Baltimore and DC area. Known for her diverse repertoire and thematic programming, Amanda has given recitals at the historic Anderson House in Washington DC, the Arts Club of Washington, and The Mainstay in Rock Hall, Maryland. She will be returning to the area on October 8th with her program Portraits of Memories, a recital showcasing the ability for music to house emotive stories of loved ones, unique places, cultures, or even magic. She will be performing with Albany-based pianist Dan Foster, and the concert is free and open to the public.
