CHRISTINE ANDREAS
Christine Andreas is a multiple-award-winning singer, actress, and two-time Tony Award nominee whose voice has been called “pure alchemy,” transforming audiences from Broadway to Carnegie Hall, from Lincoln Center to London’s West End.
She first won theatergoers’ hearts as Eliza Doolittle in the 20th Anniversary production of My Fair Lady (Theatre World Award), as Laurey in Oklahoma! (Tony Nomination), Frankie in On Your Toes (Tony nomination), Marguerite St. Just in The Scarlet Pimpernel and Jacqueline in the revival of La Cage aux Folles with Kelsey Grammer.
Christine’s solo shows have graced Café Carlyle, 54 Below, and major venues worldwide, with The New York Times praising “the sheer beauty of her voice.” Her artistry has earned her a Barrymore Award, the Mabel Mercer Award, and the Bistro Award for Ongoing Artistry in Concert and Cabaret. She has also appeared with major symphony orchestras across the U.S. and internationally.
Television credits include Law & Order: SVU, PBS’s Musical Comedy Tonight, and as Ava Gardner in Mia, Child of Hollywood. With her husband, Grammy-nominated composer Martin Silvestri, Christine has headlined concerts around the globe , resulting in her award-winning recordings (Love is Good, Here’s to the Ladies, The Carlyle Set).
