Troy Savings Bank Music Hall teaching artist Jody Cowan offers a weekly Youth Media Club at Troy Prep High School in partnership with the Sanctuary for Independent Media. This year long club meets four days a week, and features news segments from all participating students.
The young minds of Troy Prep High School’s Media Club present this Youth News break for Hudson Mohawk Magazine. In this week’s segment we’ll hear about one club member’s personal connection to women’s history, Yonder pouches used to curb cell phone use in schools, a book review of Reckless Girls: A Novel by Rachel Hawkins, and an interview with violinist and guitar club teaching artist Conner Armbruster.
